I think all you Ateneans know by now that the school’s dormitories, Cervini and Eliazo, which comprise of male and female freshmen students from around the country, undergo a second ORSEM aside from the one in school. The whole resdience hall community known as ARSA, which also includes the upperclassmen from the University Dorm right behind Cervini and Eliazo, is involved in the process of strengthening the bonds of its youngest batch through many rigorous activities which will force them to depend on each other and the upperclassmen to successfully finish the ORSEM.

But really, Ateneo Fashion Watch is here because last Saturday, there was a really big party to celebrate the end of the strenuous tasks of the dorm ORSEM and to kick-off the second month of the school year with a party so hot, it kinda stopped raining for the rest of July’s days. LUAU, the dorm’s Hawaiian themed party shows that whether you’re from Cebu, Davao, Bacolod or even freaking Siquijor, if your an ATENEAN, YOU KNOW HOW TO PARTY!!!

It was just way too AWESOME for the camera
After gearing up our cameras, and dressing up as Hawaiian locales, we head for the University Dorm Rotunda where the party is held. Here by the entrance, we are greeted by our tour guide.

"Welcome. This party does not support the Hannah Montana movie, so it is certified AWESOME."
He led us to where the party was at, and I thought I almost experienced an epileptic seizure from the colorful and flashy scene. There were flowers printed on almost everyone’s clothes and torches blazing around the dance floor.

Alright, the torches aren't really blazing but her dress is
Like any other party, there’s the juice bar (no alcohol, just lots and lots of sugar)

the DJ

the dancefloor with the glucose infused youth

and those who wish they didn’t have early morning Sunday mass the follwing day

"Ssshhh... Im praying right now... "
And like any other Ateneo Fashion Watch article, we present to you the most interesting and eye-catching outfits of the night.

The Hawaiian ensemble in their flowery dresses and Filipino genes

The rainbow dress is pretty and the flower crown is adorable

When the pimp's in the crib ma Drop it like it's hot...

I'm glad people took time and prepared for this night. The dresses are lovely

I love how they look sleek yet chill at the same time. Cheers to BROMANCE

Girl on the left can't wait to swim. Girl on the right has a cute flower laden dress ready for dancing on the sand

A plain but lustrous buttoned top; down to a sweet malong finish

Glamorous apparels! The flower lace for the win!
Whew, I’m tired from all the sugar powered drinks and dancing. The colors of yellow, blue, red and pink are all I see right now. It was a fun party and I do hope you had a great time as well. Until next time…. Oh wait, Song for Mary.

"Through the joy and tears, through the laughing years..."
Alright, see you in a few days! I’ll guess I’ll count flowers instead of sheep and then fall asleep…
